Ways to Describe Things

When it’s really foggy outside Czechs say, “venku je uplný mlíko.” A literal translation is, “outside is full of milk.” A better translation might be, “it’s really milky outside.” Either way, I like the Czech phrase. It’s as if the fog were just a friendly drink come to re-nourish the land.
